Maputo is the Capital City of Mozambique, and was formerly known as “Lourenco Marques”. There are many beaches in close proximity and some of the beaches such as those found on Inhaca Island are only a short boat ride from the shore of Maputo.

Visit the habour, which is the centre of the country’s economy and spend a day exploring the country’s streets, shopping and night life. The buildings speak of a rich Portuguese heritage and filled with old colonial touches. These can be seen in what is now known as the focal point of the City- the Praca de Independencia.
